Founding and Senior Pastor

Prior to starting Active Word Church, he was actively involved in youth and young adults ministry. Because of his heart for prayer, teaching of the word and evangelism, he raised a lot of young men and women in those areas to become teachers of the word, evangelists and prayer warriors. He mentors college students as well who have now become vibrant in the Lord and are doing tremendous work in the Kingdom of God.

Hayford believes in the demonstration of the power of the Holy Spirit and has been operating that field for over 15 years.

In his spare time, enjoys playing playing his guitar.

Executive Director for Active Word Church and Children’s Ministry

Prior to joining Active Word Church, Kezia served as counselor in several university campus Christian organizations. She loves mentoring and helping young adults to grow in their Christian walk.

Outside of church, she’s a scientist, a mother of 4 and a Pastor’s wife. She loves to hike and try new recipes.

She brings over 10 years of ministry experience to the team!

Executive Director of Evangelism and Missions

Munya holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications.

Prior to joining Active Word Church, Munya served as an Evangelist on several college campuses. He’s well-known for one-on-one street evangelism and has a passion for soul-winning. Munya has also served as a mentor for high schoolers.

Outside of ministry, Munya is a professional golfer and has won several local tournaments. He is a highly skilled photographer and videographer.

Munya brings about 4 years of ministry experience to the team.
